Dashcams
Forward and cabin footage from roads that were supposed to be empty.
Dashcams run whenever the engine does, recording the road ahead and, on many units, the cabin behind the driver. That second lens is what makes this section different: the driver is on camera at the exact moment they see something. The archive collects clips of figures standing on the centre line of empty highways, headlights that follow a car without a vehicle behind them, and passengers who appear in the rear-seat feed for a single frame. Investigators examine frame rate, headlight bloom, rain on the windscreen, and the effect of fatigue on the driver's account. Every dashcam case file is a dramatised story created for entertainment and does not depict a real journey.
