CAM01 Files (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at cam01files.online (the “Site”). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit, how we use it, and the choices you have. The Site does not require an account, and we collect as little personal information as we reasonably can.

We do not ask you to register. The only personal information we receive directly from you is what you choose to send through the contact or footage submission form, such as your name, email address, a description of your clip, and any files or links you attach.

Server logs

Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data when you load a page, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and the time of each request. We use this to keep the Site secure, diagnose problems, and understand aggregate traffic.

Analytics and advertising data

Third-party services described below collect information through cookies and similar technologies. We do not sell your personal information.

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. Local storage is a similar feature that lets a website remember information on your device without sending it to a server. CAM01 Files uses local storage to remember a few preferences:

• Bookmarks - the case files you have saved to read later.

• Recently viewed - a short list of the last case files you opened.

This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and does not identify you. You can clear it through your browser settings. 4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to understand which pages are popular, how long people stay, and roughly where traffic comes from. It uses cookies and collects data such as a truncated IP address, device and browser information, and page interactions. We do not use it to identify individual visitors. Google processes this data under its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

7. Form Submissions

Our contact and submission forms are delivered to us by email from our own server; no third-party form service stores what you enter. The message is kept in our support mailbox for as long as we need it to deal with your request. We use what you send only to respond to you, to review and, where appropriate, publish the footage you submitted (subject to our Terms of Service), and to record any permission you granted. We do not add your address to a mailing list.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and some case files contain themes unsuitable for young children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact support@cam01files.online and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights (GDPR and CCPA)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion, to opt out of sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email support@cam01files.online; we will verify your identity and respond within the time required by law.

10. Data Retention

Server logs are kept for no more than 90 days unless needed longer for security or legal reasons. Contact and submission messages are kept as long as necessary to handle your request and record any publishing permission. Analytics event data is retained for 14 months. Preferences stored in your browser remain until you clear them.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
