1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using CAM01 Files at cam01files.online (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Description of the Service

CAM01 Files is an entertainment website that publishes fictional “case files” presented as if they were security-camera investigations. All cases, witnesses, locations, and events are invented dramatisations, and the Site makes no claim that paranormal phenomena are real. See our Disclaimer for details.

3. Use of the Site and Prohibited Conduct

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, or republish substantial portions of the Site without permission;
  • use bots or automated tools in a way that burdens our servers;
  • attempt to interfere with, disable, or gain unauthorised access to the Site;
  • submit material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or infringing, or footage of real people without their consent, or of minors;
  • impersonate any person or use the Site to harass, threaten, or track anyone; or
  • manipulate polls, votes, or reports through automated or deceptive means.

4. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Site - case files, text, stills, video edits, graphics, logos, layout, and code - is owned by CAM01 Files or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may link to our pages and quote brief excerpts with attribution. Any other reproduction or derivative use requires our prior written permission.

5. User Submissions

When you submit footage, stills, descriptions, or other material to us (a “Submission”), you grant CAM01 Files a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, transferable, and sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, edit, adapt, dramatise, publish, display, and distribute the Submission in any media now known or later developed, including in connection with the Site, social media, and promotional material.

You represent and warrant that you own the Submission or have all rights necessary to grant this licence, that it does not infringe any third party’s rights, including privacy and publicity rights, and that any identifiable person has consented to its use. You understand that Submissions may be edited, fictionalised, combined with other material, or rewritten as a dramatised case file, and that names, locations, and events may be changed. We are under no obligation to publish, credit, or remove a Submission except as required by law or our DMCA policy.

6. No Professional Advice

Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, medical, psychological, security, or other professional advice. If you are in distress, believe your home is unsafe, or are concerned about your health, contact the appropriate professional or emergency service.

7. Third-Party Links and Advertising

The Site links to third-party websites and displays advertisements served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content, products, or privacy practices of any third party, and your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAM01 FILES AND ITS OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD 100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CAM01 Files and its operators from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Submissions, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, and remove any Submission, at any time without notice if we believe you have breached these Terms. Sections 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the place where CAM01 Files is operated, without regard to conflict of law rules. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page and the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
